WONDERWORLD FOUNDATION is a youth-focused creative development foundation committed to empowering young people with practical, future-ready skills in animation and digital storytelling. The foundation was established to address the growing skills gap in Africa’s creative industry and to create sustainable pathways for employment, entrepreneurship, and global competitiveness.

Through this initiative, Wonderworld foundation is sponsoring a comprehensive animation training program for 500 young people, with a strong focus on underserved and talented youth who demonstrate passion for creativity but lack access to quality training opportunities.

Program Overview

The Animation Training Program is a structured, hands-on learning initiative designed to equip participants with industry-relevant skills in 2D and 3D animation, character design, storytelling, motion graphics, and basic visual effects. The training combines technical instruction with creative thinking, teamwork, and professional discipline aligned with international animation standards.

Participants will be guided by experienced professional animators and industry mentors through a blend of classroom instruction, practical studio exercises, and project-based learning. By the end of the program, each trainee will have developed a professional demo reel and completed original animation projects suitable for employment or freelance work.

  • Create job and freelance opportunities within the creative and animation industries
  • Encourage youth entrepreneurship and content creation
  • Promote African stories and cultural representation through animation
  • Build a skilled workforce capable of competing in global creative markets

Target Beneficiaries

  • Gain professional animation and storytelling skills
  • Increase their employability and income-earning potential
  • Contribute to the growth of the local and regional creative economy
