Terms and Conditions

Free Animation Training and Employment Programme

These Terms and Conditions govern the registration, selection, training, and possible employment of applicants under the Free Animation Training and Employment Programme organized by Wonderworld Institute of Creation (WIC). By registering for this programme, the applicant agrees to be bound by the terms set out below.

REGISTRATION FEE
All applicants shall pay a non-refundable registration fee of Two hundred Ghana cedis (GHC 200). Payment of the registration fee does not guarantee selection, training, or employment. The registration fee covers administrative and assessment costs only.

ELIGIBILITY AND LEGAL CAPACITY
Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements as determined by Wonderworld. Applicants below eighteen (18) years shall only be admitted upon written parental or guardian consent. WIC reserves the right to request proof of age and identity at any stage of the process. Upon selection and admission into the programme, all successful applicants shall, for the purposes of training administration, discipline, academic assessment, and programme participation, be treated as persons of full age and legal capacity within the Institute.

APTITUDE TEST
All applicants must sit for a mandatory aptitude test as part of their selection process. The test shall be conducted on dates and at venues determined by Wonderworld. The results and pass list shall be released solely by WIC, and such decision shall be final and binding. No appeal, petition, or external interference shall be entertained regarding aptitude test results.

SELECTION & COMMUNICATION
Success applicants shall be contacted strictly through contact details provided on the application form. Where a selected applicant fails to respond within the stipulated time, WIC reserves the right to revoke the selection and offer the slot to another applicant. WIC shall not be liable for communication failures resulting from incorrect, inactive or unreachable contact details supplied by the applicant.

TRAINING PERIOD & STATUS
Selected applicants shall undergo free animation training for a period of one (1) year. During the training period:
a. Trainees are students and not employees;
b. No salary, allowance, stipend, or wage shall be paid;
c. The training shall not constitute an employment relationship under Ghanaian labour law.
The programme is structured as an educational and skills-development initiative, consistent
with best practice under Ghana’s labour and educational frameworks.

ATTENDANCE, CONDUCT & DISCIPLINE
Students shall attend all scheduled lectures, workshops, internships, and practical sessions. Any student who misses more than three (3) classes without prior communication or approval from the Administration shall have their free tuition immediately terminated. Students must at all times uphold:
a. Decent and appropriate dressing;
b. Respect for tutors, staff, and fellow students;
c. Punctuality and professionalism.
Misconduct, disrespect, harassment, or persistent indiscipline may result in suspension or expulsion from the programme.

CHILD PROTECTION & WELFARE
WIC shall maintain a safe and professional learning environment. Parents or guardians remain responsible for the general welfare of minors outside academic activities. WIC does not assume parental responsibility over students.

EMPLOYMENT AFTER TRAINING
Completion of the training does not guarantee employment. Employment, where offered, shall
be strictly subject to:
a. Satisfying WIC’s performance, skills, and conduct criteria;
b. Availability of suitable roles; and
c. A written endorsement or reference letter from at least one (1) lecturer of Wonderworld
Institute of Creation.
WIC retains full discretion in determining employability.

POST-EMPLOYMENT SERVICE OBLIGATION
Any student who receives free training under this programme, and is subsequently employed by WIC, shall be required to serve the Company for a minimum period of three (3) years. This obligation shall be formalized in a separate written employment or service agreement, compliant with Ghanaian labour law. The service obligation shall commence only after a valid employment contract is executed.
