Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions as amended from time to time shall govern the use of the services rendered from Wonderworld Institute of Creation and upon agreeing with this form shall be deemed to create a binding agreement between trainees and Wonderworld Institute of Creation.
1.Training Classes and 1-2-1 Training:
To ensure you are guaranteed a place on a course, please complete registration on the institution’s website and pay the fees to the account number 0141555386012 and account name WONDERWORLD INSTITUTE OF CREATION in any branch of Universal Merchant Bank, or via our mobile money number +233542330399. For bank payments, ensure the applicant’s name appears on the bank deposit slip, and for mobile money payment, type the registration code (generated from the website after registration) as the reference number to complete the application process. By completing the application, you have acknowledged that you are aware of our terms and conditions. Confirmation of your registration will be forwarded by email. It is the trainee’s responsibility to arrive at the time appointed to them.
We cannot guarantee a place on the training unless registration is completed; which includes online registration and payment. We are not able to take cheques as payment. If you request a place on a course without paying, there is no assurance a space will be available on commencement of the course. We will endeavour to contact you when places are available.
We limit the number of trainees in our classes to provide the appropriate trainer to trainee ratio. Registering in advance guarantees a place on our courses. We reserve the right to excuse trainees that are insubordinate during training sessions.
Trainees who do not come with their training tools do so at their own detriment.
Please consider others in class and switch off your mobile phone. We ask that you do not hold conversations on your phone during training sessions. Photography or video recording is not permitted during training sessions unless permitted to do so by the instructor. The instructor is authorized to penalize any trainee who flouts this rule.
Please report in time for each session as latecomers can be disruptive to the other trainees during sessions. A trainee can be suspended for continuous lateness to class.
2.Payment of fees:
5-months intensive certificate program: All fees must be paid before applicants can commenced the program. We allow for instalment payment before the program begins. Students who fail to pay all fees would not be permitted into the class. NB: An undertaken however, could give applicants 1-month extension for payment after program has commenced. The undertaken is approved only when the applicant has paid 60% of the total fees.
2-years diploma program: We allow for instalment payment after the program begins. 60% as first instalment before 11th October, and 40% as final instalment before 10th December.
3.What to wear:
No uniform or dress code is required for this professional programme. However, appropriate and decent clothing should be worn to training sessions.
- Welfare and safety:
Please keep to areas of the building designated only for our training sessions. We provide a safe and secure environment as practicably reasonable and endeavour to apply good practices with all our training sessions. We endeavour to run all trainings in a safe and professional manner as possible. Wonderworld Institute of Creation and its individual assistants will not accept responsibility for any loss, injury or damage to any persons, or trainees attending a session, or to their property howsoever caused during the provision of training activities. You are responsible for yourself.
All training provided will be by instructors who have been trained by Wonderworld Institute of Creation, or other well-recognized institutions, and have been deemed by Wonderworld Institute of Creation to have the requisite skills and experience.
We will not take responsibility for misinterpretation of advice. Whilst we hope you find the information and guidance given interesting and informative; the contents are for general information only. We believe the contents to be true and accurate as at the date of the session but can give no assurance or warranty regarding the accuracy, currency or applicability of any of the contents in relation to specific situations and particular circumstances. As such, the contents should not be relied upon and professional advice should be taken in specific cases. In addition, none of the content of the session will form any part of any contract between us or constitutes an offer by us. Specific disclaimers may apply in addition to certain content or parts of the session.
- Parental/ Guardian consent:
The consent of parents or guardians must be sought before the commencement of the training.
Wonderworld Institute of Creation is not promising any trainee automatic employment after the programme. However, trainees who demonstrate exceptional and excellent skills during the programme will be offered employment and retained to work with our sister company; Fame 1 studios.
- Cancellations, Deferments and Refund:
To request for cancellation and refund, it must be done on or before 6th October. The applicant will be entitled to less 60% of the total fees payable which will be retained as administrative charges plus drawing tablet. The refund will be made after 25 working days, after the cancellation and refund notice is received by the institution. Refund notices will not be approved after 6th October.
Deferment is allowed for only a maximum of 1 year. Deferment notice must be received by the institution before 7 days after the program has commenced.
(Why we collect your personal data and what we do with it)
When you supply your personal details to us they are stored and processed for 2 reasons:
- We need to collect personal information in order to provide our services safely and effectively.
- Provided we have your consent, on occasion we may email you news, updates from us, announcements about and offers for our training courses. You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing us.
We have a legal obligation to retain our records about you for 7 years after your most recent appointment. After this period, you can ask us to delete any information about you. Otherwise, we may retain our records about you indefinitely in order that we can provide the best possible service should you contact us again in the future.
Your records are stored on paper at our premises (which are always locked when unoccupied) and Dropbox.
We will by no means share your data with any third party unless authorised by you via written document in addition to the consent of the administrator. Only the following people will have routine access to your data:
- Our administrative support team and accountants.
We will in no way pass your details on to other parties.
